# Accept invite to be admin

`POST /v2/organizations/{org_id}/admins/{user_id}/accept`

This endpoint allows API users to accept an invitation to become an admin or moderator of an organization.

**Notes**

* The invited user calls this endpoint with their own access token. `user_id` is the ID of the invited user.
* To decline the invitation instead, use [`POST /v2/organizations/{org_id}/admins/{user_id}/decline`](/docs/organization/operations/post-v2-organizations-org-id-admins-user-id-decline).

| `org_id` | string | Yes | ID of the organization that sent the invitation. |
| `user_id` | string | Yes | ID of the invited user. Must match the owner of the access token. |

## Responses

### 204

Successful response. The invitation is acceptd.

### 400

Wrong, expired, or missing token.

* The user has no invitation to accept.
* `user_id` belongs to another user.

### 404

* The user with `user_id` isn't in the organization.
* The organization doesn't exist or isn't active.
