### Assign permissions to roles

Assign permissions to users to access the SignNow application.

Go to **Setup** > **Users/Roles** > **Manage Roles**. Select the required role and click **Edit**.

Navigate to the **Permissions** tab > **Setup** subtab.

Select the following permissions from the dropdown:

- Log in using OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens (full level)
- REST Web Services (full level)

Click **Save** to apply the permissions to the role.

To assign the role to users, go to **Setup** > **Users/Roles** > **Manage Users**.

Select the user and add the updated role if they don't already have it.

Once assigned, users can access the SignNow integration.

Grant SignNow for NetSuite access to your SignNow account.

## Configure the attachment folder

By default, SignNow saves signed documents to the **Attachments Received** folder in the NetSuite File Cabinet.

If a document is signed but doesn't appear attached to the NetSuite record, the **Attachments Received** folder may be inaccessible to the integration user. In that case, create a dedicated folder and update the setting:

- Go to **Documents > Files > File Cabinet**.

![netsuite_change_attachments_folder_1.png](/reference-assets/images/SignNow_Netsuite/file_cabinet_folder/netsuite_change_attachments_folder_1.png)

- Create a new folder outside of **Attachments Received** by clicking **New Folder**.
- Hover over the new folder name — the folder ID appears in the link shown at the bottom left of your browser window.

![netsuite_change_attachment_folder_2.png](/reference-assets/images/SignNow_Netsuite/file_cabinet_folder/netsuite_change_attachment_folder_2.png)

- Go to **Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types**, find **SignNow - Settings**, and click **List**.

![netsuite_change_attachments_folder_3_upd.png](/reference-assets/images/SignNow_Netsuite/file_cabinet_folder/netsuite_change_attachments_folder_3_upd.png)

- Click **Edit** next to the record. Enter the internal folder ID in the **Attachment Folder ID** field, and click **Save**.

## Team folders in SignNow

Documents and templates from SignNow for NetSuite are stored in your default workspace Team: templates in the Templates folder and document copies in the Documents folder. NetSuite users with permission to access the SignNow application can work with these shared folders.

When you create a new template from SignNow Admin Tools, it is saved to the Templates folder in your default workspace Team.

If the default workspace can't be identified:

- when you belong to a single workspace, it is saved to that workspace's Templates folder.
- when you belong to several workspaces and can't set a default (you are not an admin), it is saved to the Templates folder of the first workspace you can access.

> If your account already has a dedicated **NetSuite integration** folder under Private Teams from an earlier installation, it is still supported.

---

The configuration of the SignNow for NetSuite is all set.

Now, NetSuite admins can:

- Configure templates and document group templates in SignNow without leaving NetSuite.
- Configure data binding between NetSuite record fields and SignNow template fields for pre-fill and update.
- Customize a sender's flow to make it a one-click send.
- Customize the invite email subject and body, and enrich it with NetSuite data.
- Dynamically define recipients from NetSuite fields.
