# Installation

## Install the SignNow app

To install the SignNow application, go to the HubSpot Marketplace.

Enter SignNow in the search bar.

Open the application page and click **Install**.

Sign in to your SignNow account.

Grant the SignNow for HubSpot application access to your account.

Check the box to confirm you agree to use the third-party application and click **Connect app**.

Now the SignNow application is installed for your HubSpot organization.

You can explore its features or customize the app cards.

### Explore app features

Discover what you can do with your SignNow integration.

Go through the blocks and click **Learn more** to read the details about each action.

### Customize the app cards

Explore the available app cards.

Click **Manage Locations** to add this card to specific locations and the views where the card should appear for Contacts, Companies, and Deals.

## Manage the SignNow app

You can disconnect or uninstall the SignNow application from your HubSpot account at any time.

### Disconnect the app

Disconnecting logs your SignNow account out of the application in HubSpot. The app stays installed and its cards remain in place, but you cannot send documents or check statuses until you sign in to SignNow again.

You can log out from the Track Documents window or the Admin Tools window. The **Log out** option is in a different place in each.

**From Track Documents:**

- On the SignNow card, click **Check Statuses**.
- In the SignNow window, click the account icon in the top-right corner, then select **Log out**.

**From Admin Tools:**

- On the SignNow card, click **Go to Admin Tools**.
- In the bottom-left corner, click the **... (more)** icon next to your account, then select **Log out**.

### Uninstall the app

Uninstalling removes the SignNow application, its cards, and its custom actions from your HubSpot account.

First, open **Connected Apps** in HubSpot, using either method:

- Click the **settings** icon in the top navigation bar, then go to **Integrations > Connected Apps**.
- Click the **Marketplace** icon in the top navigation bar, then select **Connected Apps**.

Then:

- Locate SignNow, click the **Actions** dropdown, and select **Uninstall**.
- In the **Uninstall SignNow?** dialog, type `uninstall` in the field to confirm, then click **Uninstall**.
- Optionally, select a reason for uninstalling.

### What happens to user data

Disconnecting and uninstalling affect your HubSpot account and data differently:

- **Disconnecting** (logging out) keeps the application installed. Signed documents already saved to your HubSpot records are not affected.
- **Uninstalling** removes the SignNow cards and custom actions from HubSpot. Signed documents already saved to your HubSpot record attachments remain available.

## Team folders in SignNow

Documents and templates from SignNow for HubSpot are stored in your default workspace Team: templates in the Templates folder and document copies in the Documents folder. HubSpot users with permission to access the SignNow application can work with these shared folders.

> If your account already has a dedicated **HubSpot integration** folder under Private Teams from an earlier installation, it is still supported.
