# Rename folder

`PUT /user/folder/{folder_id}`

This endpoint allows API users to rename a folder.

**Notes**

* The same operation is also available at `PUT /folder/{folder_id}`.

The folder was renamed. Returns its ID.

* `name` is missing
* The folder does not exist or does not belong to the user
