# Add action to Salesforce Page Layout

# How to create an action and add it to a Salesforce Page Layout

Follow these steps to create a flow-based action and add it to the Page Layout.

- Go to **Setup > Object Manager** > and select a Salesforce object where you want to add the action.

- Click **Buttons, Links, and Actions > New Action**.

- **Action Type:** Flow.
- **Flow:** Select your flow.
- Add a label.
- Click **Save**.

- Go to **Page Layouts**, select your layout, and drag the new button from the **Mobile & Lightning Actions** to the **Salesforce** **Mobile & Lightning Actions** section.
- Click **Save**.
